    This is a lightweight, cross-platform, website I developed to aid the design and construction of stage lighting systems. The sites minimalist design allows the tools to be accessed via computer, tablet or smartphone with nominal connectivity.

  • Garage Parking Light (C++)

    September 2017

    I created the Garage Parking Light to make parking in my garage easier. It consists of a traffic light wired to a Particle Photon control board that is attached to an ultrasonic sensor. The connectors are mounted to the hardware using brackets that were 3D printed with models I drew in Solidworks. I use the sensor to measure the distance between my car and the wall. I use the traffic light to let me know if I’m clear (Green light) getting close (yellow light), or when to stop (red light). It will flash yellow if the sensor does not see my vehicle. When I am close to hitting the wall the red light will flash.

  • MPG Tracking Hybrid Mobile App (JavaScript/Angular/Ionic/Firebase)

    MPG Tracker is a hybrid mobile app that tracks the fuel economy of your vehicle. The app was built using the Ionic framework and the data is saved using Google’s Firebase.

  • Video Scanner (Python/Bash)

    November 2018

    Video Scanner is a simple script that validates all video files within a directory. The script uses ffmpeg to scan video files to look for any encoding errors. When a file with an error is found the file and error are logged into a text file.
