Host software interface lead. Provided high and low level interface design to host software team, re-architectured the interface for better maintainability on embedded modules and PC cards. Worked on OMA-DM (Over the air device management) and FOTA design for embedded modules. Developed native WWAN driver model support for Windows Vista Service Pack inside the firmware. Developed embedded IOTA (Internet over-the-air) provisioning service for wireless modules. As part of a core firmware team; followed up with the vendors/OEM to resolve interoperability and call-processing issues in CDMA embedded modules, responsible for going through customer requirements, analyze logs from CDG and field test and integrate Qualcomm releases to various platforms. Responsibilities ranging from core development to on-chip debugging.
Developed Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS) application for CDMA cell phones. On-chip debugging using JTAG and error logging. Developed on ARM 9 architecture. Applied Extreme Programming (XP), a lightweight process for efficiently developing software in the face of rapidly changing requirements. Part of a seven-member team with responsibilities ranging from core development and testing to integration with system modules on the phone.
