  • Mission Work

    Jordan Mission Trip

    June 2012 – July 2012(1 month)Amman, Jordan

I had the opportunity of traveling to the middle east and living in the country of Jordan for a month. The goal of this trip was to bridge the gap between the Eastern and Western cultures. I stepped out of the my comfort zone and embraced a new culture that is misunderstood by many Western nations. I was faced with the challenges of living in and adapting to a new culture and overcoming a language barrier. This trip taught me an international way of thinking. From this trip I learned how truly blessed we are and how we take many things for granted in the United States. There is not a day that goes by that I do not think about this once in a lifetime journey.
