    The team is responsible for design and development of Battery Management and Sensors component for Intel entry and smartphone platforms. Battery management subcomponent is responsible for battery detection, charging, monitoring and status update to upper layers. Sensor subcomponent is responsible for different sensors (TBAT, TRF, TBBIC etc.) measurements and notification of its measured values to its client. Programming languages: C, C++ RTOS: ThreadX • Implemented driver for external charge IC from Fairchild FAN54110 using I2C protocol and C on ThreadX RTOS for XMM6310 platform. • Implemented Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL) of battery driver on XMM2230 platform. This HAL is responsible for battery insertion, removal and type detection. • Sensors driver software development and defects fixing on multiple Intel platforms XMM2230, XMM2130. • Experience in analyzing both internal and customer reported issues using CrashInspect and Lauterbach. • Designed and implemented the Mobile Analyzer/XLLT logging framework. • Developed the Hardware Automated Regression Test System (HARTS) framework using C for Battery Management and Sensor component on XMM7160 platform. HARTS system has NiDAQ devices for controlling and measurement of current and voltages along with GPIB controlled devices such as Keithley. I2C protocol was used to configure and communicate with OJ. • Implemented the software delay to power on the phone. Because of this software solution, the HW delay circuit was been removed which resulted in BoM reduction. • Integrated the Carrier IQ (CIQ) agent for CDMA phones. This CIQ is capable of collecting Metrics (binary data) from all modules of the phone (Call, HW, FS etc.) • Involved in User Interface (UI) layer bug fixing of calling and messaging applications of BREW platform based phone.
