  • San Diego Robotics 101

    Computer Engineer

    September 2014 – August 2017

I was part of a club competing in Robonation’s Robosub, and this experience inspired me to establish an organization at UCSD. I have experience both building the AUVs and programming for them. Our team won the “Innovation on a Budget” award in 2015, and our robot has placed in the competition in 2015 and 2017. I developed a state machine archetype for controlling our AUV, managing sonar, CV, and dead reckoning inputs to decide state changes. This was programmed in Python and was run on custom FPGA boards and Raspberry Pis.
