  • MultiHop – Multichannel Network Design

    October 2015 – December 2015

Implementing a Multihop communication and Multihop mesh protocol for Multichannel Wireless Sensor Network. It includes • Designing Packet formats for communication between nodes • Analyzing issues of Address Allocation, Link or Node failure with Address Recovery and Routing

    Team Members (1):
    • Nithin Kumar N.
  • Socket Programming

    May 2015

Created programs in C to establish a connection between Client and Server using TCP/IP socket programming to exchange manipulated information and disconnect safely.

  • WhyNet Protocol

    March 2015 – May 2015

Designed a new wireless network (WhyNet) protocol based on TDMA technique to support the transmission of data with reduced MAC layer overheads which results in more channel utilization and also increasing the QoS and better Data Rate by assigning time slots to different nodes to achieve collision free channel or network. The existing DCF scheme of 802.11 is replaced by the above protocol to overcome delay, packet loss and the overheads.

  • OPNET Projects

    February 2015 – April 2015

    1. Simulation and analysis of Inter-Network (Star topology) using OPNET Modeler. 2. Constructing a M/M/1 queue system in OPNET Modeler and analyzing the average queue delay and size at any given time for specified mean arrival rate. 3. Design and implement of Stop and Wait protocol in OPNET. 4. Designed and Implemented a Packet Switched Network with a central hub that relays the traffic to the destination. .
