Lead Producer on an unannounced project.
I was the Lead Development Producer of a project incubation team developing an exciting new game and a rich new IP. I was fortunate to get to lead a fantastic team to create a compelling user experience from the ground up. I created a vision to guide the developers in crafting a rich gameplay experience with a tabletop prototype and a solid technical foundation, as well as a signature art style to set the game apart. Previously at Paragon I had the honor to serve as Lead Development Producer on City of Heroes, the longest-running and most popular Superhero MMORPG of all time. I was responsible for the overall direction of a talented and inspiring development team, as well as long-term planning and ongoing management of workflow and priorities. I worked with a group of outstanding leads and producers to create and maintain the vision for City of Heroes Freedom, converting a long-running MMO to a subcription/free-to-play hybrid business model, supported by compelling new microtransactions and the finest content in the game’s history. City of Heroes Freedom received a higher metacritic score than the original launch of the game.
Manage schedule and workflow and information for the design team.
Coordinating team efforts to create outstanding games. My goal when I get to the office every morning is to ensure that everyone has what they need to excel at their job, and doesn’t have to deal with anything that will prevent their success.
Associate producer coordinating the efforts of external and internal teams producing games for multiple platforms in multiple languages.
Worked with internal as well as external teams to complete Gauntlet: Seven Sorrows for PS2 and Xbox in US and Europe (EFIGS). Managed localization, wrote and edited all in-game text, managed TRC and TCR compliance, directed Quality Assurance process and relationship, and coordinated information and assets with marketing and PR.
Wrote and edited game story elements, documentation, and marketing materials. Worked closely with team members and management to find creative solutions to design challenges. Laid foundation for design of future titles based on research of real-world events. Created PR and community contact plan for launch of multi-platform title.
Wrote, edited, and designed manuals for multiple games, wrote and edited advertising and promotional copy.
