  • Software Engineer

    Chinese Engineering Society

    April 2019 – Present(6 months)La Jolla, California

worked on LaunchIT: a website for students and professors to browse and post projects, and looking for potential candidates for projects and researches. Responsible for coding part of the frontend of the website, Including setting up the reset password screen and setting up user profile view. Connects frontend to backend using Redux and React. Programming language using: Javascript, HTML, CSS. Backend using: Firebase.

  • Student Researcher

University of California, San Diego – Jacobs School of Engineering

    September 2019 – Present(1 month)Greater San Diego Area

Working for the Early Research Scholars Program for Computer Science Department.

  • Software Developer Intern

    June 2019 – August 2019(2 months)Greater San Diego Area

Golf AI: an iOS app that teaches you how to golf. Responsible for designing and implementing the User Interface. Connects machine learning algorithms with interaction in the frontend. Implemented the “partOfSwing” model to detect users’ actions, including setting the person in view, capturing the user’s swing, and giving feedback to their swing. Coded the profile page and past swing video page for the users. Wrote Unit tests for checking the correctness of the algorithms for angle estimation and user experience. Refactored the code from the old app and made it lightweight. Programming language used: Swift.
