    1. Design and implementation of BPF (XDP) Iptable firewall engine: a. SF XDP module as part of the Linux kernel responsible for packet filtering according to the iptable ruleset specification. Has support for subnets (IPV4, IPV6) and port ranges. b. SF BPF library module that exposes a well-defined public API to the user to insert/delete iptable rules into/from XDP engine 2. Design and implementation of Serverlock Manager Platform: a. Connection Manager – module responsible to manage thousands of Severlock Adapters connections over TCP/IP. It implements the SF proprietary communication protocol between Serverlock Manger and Serverlock Adapters over TLS1.2 protected link. b. Binding Protocol – module that implements Solarflare’s proprietary authentication protocol (ECC-384 key based) as part of Serverlock Adapter (client) to Serverlock Manger (server) authentication procedure. c. Rule Compiler – Collection of Python modules to compile policies and roles (JSON format) into rules/filters as per Serverlock Adapter hardware specification. 3. Adapter firmware development: a. Implementation of link status reporting schema b. Implementation of ARP snooping capability
