I am a Software Engineer at a Cleared Defense Contractor in San Diego, California, who is interested in * Enterprise Application Integration, * Data-Intensive Applications, * Distributed Systems, * Machine Learning, and * Unmanned Aerial Vehicles. Many of these interests have been kindled by my professional experience developing an intelligence processing, exploitation, and dissemination system. This experience has involved using the .NET Framework, including * C# and JavaScript programming languages, * ASP.NET, * Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF), * Managed Extensibility Framework (MEF), and * the model–view–viewmodel (MVVM) software architectural pattern, to develop this data-intensive system at the engineering firm where I currently work. Since this system deals with large data loads, I have become very familiar with programming, optimizing, and testing Microsoft SQL Server for performance. My experience with Web technologies stretches back to 2015 and includes front-end frameworks such as Angular and ReactJS. I have also used ASP.NET, NodeJS, and PHP to create RESTful APIs for the back-end. As far as production web servers go, I have installed, configured, and deployed apps on Windows Internet Information Server (IIS) and Apache2 on Linux. In addition to Microsoft SQL Server, I have also programmed for MySQL, SQLite, and MongoDB.
