    ● Cleaned and sorted data detailing the price in order to perform analysis using a Pandas dataframe ● Predicted what sector a stock is in using sklearn’s KNN and SVM. ● Optimized by running K-folds cross validations yielding a 39% accuracy rate over an 11% random prediction rate

  • Validation of an Empirical Comparison of Supervised Learning Algorithms (Python, Jupyter)

    ● Investigated three classifiers (SVM, LOGREG, KNN) on three datasets (IRIS, MNIST, ADULT) from the UCI repository in order to examine the strengths & weaknesses of each classifier on the given data set ● Achieved upwards of 85% accuracy on IRIS, 99% on MNIST, & 79% on the ADULT dataset

    ● Analyzed 1,364,944 questions from two Kaggle datasets of StackOverflow coding questions after cleaning in order to find the most common questions beginners have using TF-IDF & BoW ● Applied Pandas tools to remove overlapping data from the two sets as well as extract questions from the dataframe
