I am passionate about building software applications and keeping up with technology. I am a software engineer at Thermo Fisher Scientific, helping cure cancer. Currently I am very interested in cyber security, robotics, image processing, and emerging technology like 3D printing. My most recent project that I worked on for fun is image processing on a embedded system (Jetson), I used opensource software (Opencv and SimpleCV) to create a green screen application. I coded it in C (GPIO Ports), C++ (Image processing / Main Application), and python (Slideshow / Prototyping) .My last project was last year I created/built a delta 3D printer. I also designed the parts that where 3D printed for my 3D printer (see video on projects bellow).In college I worked on a joint project with Cal Poly San Luis Obispo to design and implement one UGV and two UAVs. Designed the software for an autonomous ground vehicle and an autonomous air vehicle. Designed and implemented behavior suite, communication specs, and ground station software UI. Been also working on space combat simulator for fun on the side. One of my old duties was being a leader at Northrop Grumman Fablab where I also teach laser cutting class. In the past I have given talks to Northrop Grumman on cyber security and have put on workshops for orbital mechanics simulation. Computers are my passion, and when I am not at work I am usually doing something related to software or computer engineering.

  • Internship Research Position UAV Navigation system

    Working on project for National Science Foundation, to create a autopilot payload that can be modular and dropped into any aircraft making it a UAV. Developing control systems and behavior to the navigation system.

    Designed and built a delta 3d printer on the side. 3D printed some of the parts for the printer took around 5 months to make. It is pretty big meter high .
