I have always been fascinated by all aspects of technology and thus, I chose to pursue a degree in Computer Science at the University of California – San Diego. I have started my journey in this field more than ten years ago when I started working on a small website. Ever since, I have been expanding my technical knowledge about Data Structure, algorithms, operating systems and mobile platforms. On top of my technical skills, I have developed the attributes of leadership, teamwork and time management through my managerial roles in Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and Leader Consult Training Company. I plan to use my technological and soft skills to create and manage a start-up company that influences people’s lives and makes creative innovations possible.

  • Honors in Action Project: “Competitiveness versus Ambition in Goal-Setting”

    May 2012 – January 2013

The project falls under Theme 1: It’s All in Your Mind: Foundations of Competition/ Competition and Psychology of the Honors in Action Project: Culture of Competition. Understanding one’s true self – who one is and what one experiences – matters when trying to reach one’s potential. When setting oneself up for success, it is essential to recognize one’s own ambitions, capability to achieve certain goals, and available competitive opportunities. The project reports the awareness of students and faculty at De Anza College about the competitiveness and ambition-drive in setting goals. It grants a solid foundation for the Honors in Action service project – which aims to help students attain higher achievements by informing them of the distinction between competitiveness and ambition, and then help students set effective goals based on their competitive and ambitious personalities.
