I’m an alumnus from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. I received my Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Science in June of 2014. I am very interested in Software Development, with a strong interest and focus on implementing efficient algorithms, coding techniques, and user-centric interfaces. The possibilities that computer software has to offer to the world is virtually limitless, which makes me very excited and eager to give back through software.

  • How Busy?

    September 2013

    For our Senior Project, we wanted to create a software system that could determine how busy a venue was in real-time. We utilized a webcam feed from an iPod Touch and ran facial detection algorithms on the video feed to aggregate the number of faces in the shot. End users were able to interface with our software through both iOS and Android mobile applications which we also developed, to see how busy their favorite restaurants were in any given moment. I was responsible for implementing the facial detection algorithm, implementation for the Android application, and interfacing between web server and application.
