Under the guidance of Dr. Youwen Ouyang and Katherine Hayden, my responsibilities were to advance the goals of their project – Activate Computational Thinking (ACT). With funding from the National Science Foundation, we sought to instill a sense of curiosity for the sciences and computational thinking to schoolchildren in the Greater San Diego area. I worked with kids aged elementary through middle school and their teachers to spread Dr. Ouyang and Dr. Hayden’s unique approach to teaching and learning elementary scientific concepts. We also organized the annual San Diego Women’s Hackathon – which is exactly what it sounds like. I was fortunate enough to help coordinate two of these events and serve as the designated photographer.

Every business has a multitude of disparate systems – from accounting software, sales, customer service, etc. One may perform its function better than a singular system that tries to do everything but not very well. This leaves a lot of data within these various applications that could be utilized in aggregate to keep the business running smoothly. Until now, there hasn’t existed an easy means to centralize and organize all the data from various applications – at best, someone usually has to manually export and compare date; at worst, this is impossible altogether. OneCloud aims to solve this problem by serving as a centralized hub for all business data. It’s easy to see customer service tickets alongside sales, or inventory levels alongside social media engagement. Integrations exists between many popular frameworks – EDI, Zendesk, Shopify, Magento, Quickbooks online and many more with the list growing longer every day. OneCloud is built upon Enteracloud’s state of the art and proven cloud infrastructure for maximum reliability and performance. We offer our services to our clients on a SaaS model, but our solution is amorphous enough to fit one’s individual needs – no one size fits all solutions here. We take a highly modularized approach, so that we can integrate each individual component with a customer’s specific needs. But at the end of the day, data is king – and that is where OneCloud by Enteracloud shines.
