    The dynamic test suite is a tool where we simulate an user to run a application to gather information from an android app. This tool is capable of running different devices in parallel to determine how an app will perform. We gather the raw data from the tools we use within the suite and analyze the overall performance of an app

  • Transparent Legislature Project

    January 2013

    Made a series of prototypes for a California Assembly member. The goal of the prototypes was to evaluate audio transcription services for extracting data from videos of conferences; the overall goal of the project was to provide transparency in the California government by hosting a database of information about all meetings held, allowing citizens to remotely access their transcripts/recordings easily. Results were given in the form of a white paper detailing each transcription service and a number of evaluation criteria.

    This game was built during the 2013 Global Game Jam. This years theme was based on a heartbeat and we decided to have a valentines theme game. It is a side scrolling game where the player tries to pass out as many valentines as possible to find his very own valentines, or get hurt trying.

  • Happy Cabbage Adventure

    June 2012

    Happy Cabbage Adventure is a 2.5D platforming game written in C++ using OpenGL. It was a class project starting off with six members, and later becoming five. Four of the members on the team, myself included, used Happy Cabbage Adventure as their senior project. The project borrowed many ideas from Mario and megaman games, including enemy-specific AI and power-ups. Each member of the team had specific duties in the team. My main job was the project’s modeler and character designer. I drew concept art and used Blender for modeling.

  • Elemental Wizardry

    May 2012 – June 2012

    This was a Kinect game that was developed as part of the Graphics applications class. Together as a team we learned XNA, C#, and the Kinect SDK in 3 weeks time and had a 3D gallery shooter implemented. This took voice input to change elemental spells which were used to destroy color coded targets. The motion tracking read hand movements in order to aim and fire the projectiles. Further work was continued with myself and Jorge Mendoza beyond the scope of the class, but has since stopped.
